My wife Sue (graduated Notra Dame 69) have been married 41 years. We have two sons. Scott is 34, married with the 4 of the most precious grandchildren a Gram and Papa could ever want. Scott and Erin live in Olathe, Kansas, so we are back and forth several times a year to visit.
Our youngest son, Kyle, lives in Orlando Florida where he is under contract with Universal Studios. He and his partner, Brian, have a 4-1/2 year old little boy named Peyton (Peyton is Brian's nephew, and they have custody of him). He is lighting up their lives too! We do travel to Orlando... but honestly how many times can you go to Disney World!! However, we do get in free and remarkable discounts on the resorts.
Sue and I are both retired and achieve in Volunteer work. I work at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital in the surgery center on Tuesday and Wednesday. I am also on the Board and a member of their NODA (No One Dies Alone) team. Sue donates her time with St Vincent de Paul Society at our church. She is there three half-days a week distributing bags of food to the homeless and needy people who are down on their luck. It is rewarding to help put a smile on someones face!
Looking forward to the 45th reunion. This makes our 8th reunion that I have Chaired with a tremendous amount of support from and with the dedicated committee members. We are all in it together to make YOUR reunion be as enjoyable and memorable as possible. An added bonus is that we are all BEST FRIENDS TOO! Sue and I consider them "our family"... We hope to see everyone at the reunion. If you have never come to a reunion NOW is the time. Once you come you DO get hooked! ~NOTHING COULD BE FINER THAN TO BE A 69ER~
